Memorial Service for Lee Stone - Friday, 6/4 @ 1:00 PM.
Lee and Shelda have faithfully served the Lord at the Rescue Mission in Winchester VA for many years. Before, during, and after their service in Winchester, Lee and Shelda were faithful to the opportunities our Lord gave them to serve, often in local churches. Pray for Shelda and family as they carry on the legacy of faithfulness their husband and father showed them.
Family Matters Series - starting Sunday 6/13 we'll be going through God's design for family. We will endeavor to give biblical answers for questions about marriage & divorce, roles of husbands and wives, sex, gender, parenting, and so on. As Satan does his best to attack God's first institution - marriage & family - may we keep going back to the God's Word and God's people for answers and strength in this struggle. May the local church be counter-cultural in these matters and yet humbly and lovingly setting the example as we follow God's design together.
Father's Day - June 20th - We'll have our normal Sunday School and follow it with an outside morning Service then a picnic with testimonies from some of our dads followed by some games. (No Evening Service) Come and join us as we celebrate together.
